Ingredients
- Fresh peppers (preferably spicy)
- Medium potatoes
- Onion (optional)
- Extra virgin olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Chili pepper
- (Optional) Fresh basil
Method
- Wash the peppers, remove the ends and slice them.
- Peel the potatoes and cut them into slices or cubes.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and cook the potatoes until golden.
- Add the peppers, cover and cook gently.
- Cook until soft and nicely browned.
- Add onion if desired.
- Season to taste.
- Serve hot with fresh basil.
